What made you choose a healthcare career?
I chose a career in healthcare to help children grow and thrive – both physically and mentally. I love serving the kids and families in our area to promote health and wellness for their whole lives. I believe that investing in the physical and mental health of today’s kids strengthens our entire community for generations to come. I hope to serve my community toward happier and healthier lives.

How does the work you do at KCHC make a difference in the lives of patients and our community?
Pillar Health is able to provide integrated medical, behavioral, and dental care like no one else in the area! I love being able to holistically support a family through the endless changes throughout childhood. Our patients receive the care and support that they need to meet their health goals. The work I do at Pillar Health makes a difference in our community as we see needs arise and take action to meet those needs, including partnering with community resources, and doing outreach to local schools. My Pediatric Mental Health Specialist board certification gives me extra training and resources to identify and manage mental health and behavioral concerns. I truly believe our whole community is impacted by the work we do!
