Samara Hull

Interim Clinic Operations Manager, KCHC 22nd Avenue Clinic

About

Month/Year Started at KCHC:
July 2017

What made you choose a healthcare career?
I originally applied to work at KCHC because I had a strong interest in helping people and supporting the community. I wanted to be part of a field where my efforts could make a meaningful difference in others’ lives. I chose healthcare specifically because I was drawn to the idea that behind the scenes work, such as organizing systems and improving processes, can have a powerful impact on patients and care teams. Over the years, I have seen how data and thoughtful planning can lead to better care and healthier outcomes. That focus continues to guide me today as I work to ensure clinic operations run smoothly for the people who count on us.

How does the work you do at KCHC make a difference in the lives of patients and our community?
My work helps ensure our clinics run efficiently and that patients face as few barriers as possible when accessing care. I collaborate with teams across departments to improve workflows, solve problems, and support sustainable changes that make care safer, more timely, and better aligned with the needs of our community. I also support clinic teams in their daily work so they can stay focused on providing highquality care our patients.
