CASSIE GILLEN AND JAVIER LUNA-BLANCO JOIN KCHC BEHAVIORAL HEALTH TEAM

The KCHC Behavioral Health team is pleased to welcome two full-time counseling staff members to our clinic: Cassie Gillen and Javier Luna-Blanco. Both staff members are graduates of the UW-Parkside Clinical Mental Health Counseling program, and they will be completing their last step of training with KCHC in 2023 to become Licensed Professional Counselors. Cassie and Javier will help the Behavioral Health team expand services for individual and group counseling to those age 15 and over. Group mental health classes offered in the new year include the Moments of Mindfulness group led by Cassie and a group series offered in Spanish led by Javier called Let’s talk about: Relationship Boundaries.
