I have 20 years of healthcare experience spanning clinical care, operations, education, staffing management, compliance, staff development, quality improvement, and healthcare leadership. As a Registered Nurse and experienced healthcare leader, I have supported multidisciplinary teams, led operational improvement initiatives, and helped drive high-quality, patient-centered care across a variety of healthcare settings.
What made you choose a healthcare career?
At the young age of 13, I was drawn to help people after caring for my grandfather prior to him going into a nursing home. I was impressed by the nursing staff that cared for him in the nursing home during that time and wanted to give back to help others with the same passion and dedication they did for him.
How does the work you do at KCHC make a difference in the lives of patients and our community?
The work I do will ensure that the patients and the community will receive safe, timely and high-quality patient centered care. My work improving efficiency and staff development will help create a positive healthcare environment for every patient within the community.
