In response to the high demand for primary care and behavioral health services, Clínica Pillar Health Racine announces expanded access to high-quality medical and behavioral health services, offering more appointment availability.
As part of this growth, Pillar Health is adding the services of Family Nurse Practitioner Vedrana “Vee” Jovkovic, and expanding behavioral health hours with Psychotherapist Javier Luna-Blanco. With these additions, the Pillar Health Racine Clinic will offer two family medicine providers, one pediatric provider, and one behavioral health therapy provider onsite.
Pillar Health Racine is located in the heart of the Lincoln-King neighborhood, within walking distance of the current and future Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center, scheduled to open in 2026. Once complete, Pillar Health’s services will move from its temporary clinic location on the Julian Thomas Elementary School campus to the new center, where dental care will also be added, continuing the organization’s mission to provide fully integrated care and wraparound services for individuals and families navigating an increasingly complex healthcare landscape.
Welcoming Family Nurse Practitioner Vedrana “Vee” Jovkovic, DNP to Racine
Vee is a doctorally prepared Nurse Practitioner. She joined Pillar Health in 2024 and quickly became a trusted, patient-centered provider at the Kenosha clinic. She is now accepting new patients ages 13 and older in Racine, expanding the clinic’s capacity for primary care.
Fluent in Serbian, Vee serves as a vital resource for many families, including those with Eastern European backgrounds. Her approach to care is rooted in empathy and clear communication. She listens closely, learns each patient’s story, and creates personalized care plans designed for long-term health.
Patients appreciate her warm, collaborative style and her ability to explain complex health information in a way that feels approachable and empowering. She believes strong patient-provider partnerships are the foundation of healthier lives.

Expanded Behavioral Health Services with Javier Luna-Blanco, MS, LPC
To meet growing demand for mental health support, bilingual psychotherapist Javier Luna-Blanco has increased behavioral health therapy services at the Pillar Health Racine Clinic from one to two (2) days per week.
Javier provides counseling in both English and Spanish for patients ages 10 and older, helping youth, adults, and families navigate depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, grief, stress, relationship challenges, crises, and major life transitions.
Since joining Pillar Health in 2022, he has become known for his compassionate, strengths-based approach. While specializing in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), he integrates techniques from solution-focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and interpersonal psychotherapy to meet each patient where they are.
