Danielle Muckenthaler

I’ve enjoyed a rewarding career serving in the United States Navy as both an active duty dentist and reservist. I’m blessed to have had the opportunity to serve on humanitarian missions both in country and abroad, providing restorative and surgical dental services in underserved areas. Now, having moved back to settle in Kenosha County, I am excited to be able to serve our local community!

¿Qué le hizo elegir la carrera en el sistema de salud?
When I was an undergraduate in college, I had double jaw orthognathic surgery to fix a bite problem. This sparked my interested in dentistry, as I was amazed by the treatment that my doctors did and how they changed my life. I had actually started off doing two years in mechanical engineering, and ended up switching my major to dental because of my interest in the profession and a desire to help people.

I’m proficient in comprehensive dental care, and my focus is on routine and complex oral surgery procedures. I have a passion for dentistry and provide high-quality and compassionate care.

¿Cuál es su filosofía de atención al paciente?
As a patient, I know how difficult it can be to undergo complex dental treatment. Unfortunately, I see many patients that have anxiety from traumatic dental experiences that occurred in their past (most of the time in childhood). I hope to change that stigma for patients by making the dental visit as painless and relaxing as possible.

¿Qué pueden esperar los pacientes cuando le visitan?
A gentle and compassionate dental experience. I know that going through any type of dental procedures (especially surgery!) is not fun, and I will take all precautions necessary to alleviate pain, discomfort, and fear. The ball is ALWAYS in your court and we won’t begin a procedure until all of your questions and concerns are answered!
