Kenosha Community Health Center is proud to spotlight Dr. Danielle Muckenthaler, DDS, a skilled and compassionate dentist dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients of all ages at our Clínica Kenosha de la Avenida 14.
Dr. Muckenthaler brings an impressive background to our team, having served as both an active-duty dentist and reservist in the United States Navy. Her service included multiple humanitarian missions, both domestically and abroad, where she provided restorative and surgical dental care to underserved communities. Now back home in Kenosha County, she’s excited to serve her local community with the same level of dedication and heart.
Dr. Muckenthaler’s journey into dentistry began with her own transformative experience—undergoing double jaw orthognathic surgery in college. What started as a personal medical experience soon inspired her to switch from mechanical engineering to dentistry, driven by a desire to help others experience the same life-changing care she received.
Proficient in comprehensive dental care with a focus on routine and complex oral surgery, Dr. Muckenthaler combines precision with compassion. She understands that dental visits can be stressful for many patients, especially those who’ve had negative experiences in the past. Her patient philosophy centers on creating a calm, pain-free environment where every patient feels in control and fully informed before treatment begins.
“When patients visit me, they can expect a gentle, compassionate dental experience,” Dr. Muckenthaler says. “We take every precaution to ease pain, discomfort, and fear—because your comfort and confidence matter most.”
Dr. Muckenthaler earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Dakota, her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, and completed Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth.
