La pandemia de Covid-19, el aislamiento de los sistemas de apoyo, los empleos, las aficiones, la carga financiera, el duelo y la insuficiencia de recursos han provocado crisis de salud mental como nunca antes hab\u00edamos visto.<\/p>\n<p>Incluso sin la pandemia, entre 1999 y 2016, las tasas de suicidio en Estados Unidos aumentaron un 25%. A pesar de que la mayor\u00eda de los estadounidenses son conscientes de la crisis de las enfermedades mentales, muchos siguen estigmatiz\u00e1ndolas, menospreci\u00e1ndolas e ignor\u00e1ndolas. Seg\u00fan la Alianza Nacional de Enfermedades Mentales.<\/p>\n<h4>988 EST\u00c1 DISPONIBLE PARA AYUDAR<\/h4>\n<p>El nuevo\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/988lifeline.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">L\u00ednea nacional de prevenci\u00f3n del suicidio<\/a>\u00a0ha cambiado su n\u00famero de tel\u00e9fono por el 988 en un esfuerzo por crear un n\u00famero memorable y f\u00e1cil de marcar que dirija a las personas que llaman a sus centros locales de crisis y prevenci\u00f3n. Lo que puedes hacer a trav\u00e9s de\u00a0<b>Paso #4\u00a0<\/b>es \"<b>Ay\u00fadeles a mantenerse conectados\".<\/b>. Si te sientes seguro para ayudar a alguien con tendencias suicidas, o no tienes ni idea de qu\u00e9 hacer, ayudar a otros a mantenerse conectados es una forma maravillosa de obtener apoyo.
