El evento anual destaca el papel esencial que desempe\u00f1an los centros de salud comunitarios en la mejora de la salud p\u00fablica y la promoci\u00f3n de la equidad sanitaria. Los centros de salud representan la mayor red de atenci\u00f3n primaria del pa\u00eds y atienden a 31,5 millones de pacientes en todo el pa\u00eds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La celebraci\u00f3n de la NHCW de este a\u00f1o, puesta en marcha por la <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nachc.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Asociaci\u00f3n Nacional de Centros de Salud Comunitarios<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (NACHC), se centra en \"<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nachc.org\/events\/national-health-center-week\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Impulsar las comunidades mediante conexiones solidarias<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\" a trav\u00e9s de una serie de actos programados que incluyen ferias de recursos, campa\u00f1as de vuelta al colegio, revisiones m\u00e9dicas y visitas a centros de salud por parte de l\u00edderes locales, estatales y nacionales.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Con la misi\u00f3n de ofrecer una atenci\u00f3n asequible y de alta calidad al alcance de todo el mundo, independientemente de su capacidad de pago o de su situaci\u00f3n en materia de seguros, los centros de salud clave salvan vidas y abordan los problemas de salud p\u00fablica m\u00e1s urgentes de nuestro pa\u00eds. Cuentan con una plantilla de casi 300.000 profesionales dedicados que aumentan directamente el acceso a una atenci\u00f3n asequible para prevenir enfermedades a todas las personas, pero tambi\u00e9n van m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de las paredes de la sala de reconocimiento para abordar las necesidades sociales que pueden contribuir a unos resultados sanitarios deficientes: elevados costes de la medicaci\u00f3n, problemas de vivienda, inseguridad alimentaria, trastornos por consumo de sustancias, escasos conocimientos sanitarios y transporte.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Casi 1.500 centros de salud son el hogar sanitario de:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Una de cada 5 personas sin seguro\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Una de cada 3 personas vive en la pobreza\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Uno de cada 7 habitantes de zonas rurales\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Casi 9 millones de ni\u00f1os\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">400.000 veteranos\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\"Las personas que viven en Kenosha y en los condados circundantes de Racine y Walworth tienen la suerte de tener acceso a un centro de salud comunitario capaz de proporcionar una atenci\u00f3n asequible y de alta calidad, junto con los recursos para ayudar a abordar las barreras para la salud\", dijo <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pillarhealthcare.org\/es\/liderazgo\/mary-ouimet-dnp-rn\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mary Ouimet, CEO de KCHC y Pillar Health<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. \"Se nos ha encomendado guiar y desarrollar los servicios del centro de salud para satisfacer las necesidades siempre cambiantes de la comunidad\".
